The 4B group, a major manufacturer of bucket elevator components, has developed a new range of its Nylathane elevator buckets.
The buckets have a high impact resistance and are some of the toughest polymer industrial buckets on the market.
Constructed out of Nylathane, a highly-durable nylon, the buckets have excellent wear resistance, anti-static and non-corroding properties, and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 110°C.
The 4B AA and AC Nylathane buckets features a reinforced front lip, high impact strength, and self-cleaning surfaces. The buckets are around 75 per cent lighter than fabricated steel and are suitable for light to heavy abrasive industrial products, such as sand, aggregate, cement, wood chips and fertiliser.
The 4B MF Nylathane buckets have no occlusions within the structure for use in continuous discharge elevators.
