Asia-Pacific’s largest mining event, AIMEX, is promising to deliver double the content and double the value at its 2025 edition, running from 23–25 September.
This year, the industry showcase is introducing a brand-new Innovation Stage to complement its established Main Stage program, giving delegates access to two streams of curated content across the three-day event.
Following the recent release of the main conference agenda, AIMEX has launched the agenda for a brand-new Innovation Stage for its 2025 event, doubling the value and insight available to delegates.
The Main Stage will continue to feature keynote sessions and panel discussions from industry leaders, with a focus on strategic insights, innovation, and sector-wide challenges.
Meanwhile, the Innovation Stage will spotlight cutting-edge solutions and research, with a strong emphasis on applied technology, safety, and sustainability.
Developed in collaboration with editorial from Australian Mining and leading industry experts, the program is designed to deliver content that is both practical and forward-looking. Panel sessions will address real-world challenges and the technologies shaping mining operations across the globe.
The Innovation Stage will cover a broad range of topics, including how technology and research are shaping safer, smarter, and more sustainable mining.
From the future of risk management to the role of digital tools in driving resilience and sustainability, Innovation Stage sessions will explore the balance between safety, productivity, and environmental responsibility – with insights led by industry experts.

A key highlight of the Innovation Stage will be the involvement of higher education institutions from across Australia. Their participation brings fresh perspectives, showcasing how academic research and new skills development are influencing the next era of mining.
Importantly, it also underscores the role of universities in bridging the gap between research and practical application in the sector.
Perhaps most significantly, access to both stages is entirely free with an AIMEX 2025 registration. Attendees will be able to move seamlessly between thought-leading keynotes, policy discussions, and solutions-oriented technology sessions.
