Bonfiglioli is set to debut several innovative automation and material handling solutions at this year’s Foodtech Packtech & MHL Expo, running from 2 to 4 September 2025 at Auckland Showgrounds.
As one of the events for the food manufacturing, packaging and processing sectors, the expo will bring together global leaders to share the latest technologies shaping the industry. Among them, Bonfiglioli will unveil several solutions never before seen in the local market.
“We’re excited to be part of FoodTech Packtech & MHL 2025, especially as some of the latest solutions from Bonfiglioli will be making their local debut at the expo,” country manager Bonfiglioli New Zealand Paul Savage said.

Among the four new products making their debut is the DGM Modular inverter, a decentralised motor-mounted solution designed for high-performance control in conveyor and logistics systems. Its IP65-rated aluminium housing makes it ideal for demanding food and packaging environments.
Also on display will be the Blue Roll gearbox, developed specifically for automated guided vehicles. Compact yet powerful, it’s designed to handle high radial loads and speeds up to two m/s, making it suitable for tight warehouse environments.
Bonfiglioli will also present the BSR Series, an energy-efficient synchronous reluctance motor engineered to replace traditional induction motors. With efficiency levels up to IE4, the BSR offers performance gains and reduced operating costs.
The AxiaVert Series, a flexible, modular frequency inverter, rounds out the new offerings. Compatible with multiple motor types, it features smart connectivity, built-in safety options and remote monitoring capabilities.
“Of course, we’ll also have some of our old favourites, like the A Series gearmotor and our very popular planetaries on show alongside these new releases,” Savage said.
Bonfiglioli will be exhibiting at stand J23 during the three-day event.
