Bulk Handling Technologies (BHT) has steadily expanded its Tyre-Driven Ball Mill range, delivering reliable grinding and lime slaking solutions for various customers across multiple gold and rare earth processing applications.
BHT senior mechanical engineer Sebastien Poulinet said the BHT Tyre-Driven Lime Slaking Ball Mill is becoming a “preferred solution” for its customers due to the simplicity and reliability of the tyre driven design.
“Currently we are assembling two 2.0m diameter ball mills and one 1.8m diameter ball mill for clients in Western Australia and we are fabricating a third ball mill for an African gold mining customer,” Poulinet said.
The BHT Tyre-Driven Ball Mill range spans from 1m diameter up to 2.5m diameter and the grinding mill would typically form part of a complete lime slaking or grinding package.
As with all BHT materials handling equipment, the ball mills will be fully assembled and no-load tested at its Kewdale workshop before being loaded onto transport for local or international destinations.
BHT engineering manager Paul Ingleson said it’s important for bulk handling technologies to stay up to date as the industry continues to evolve.
“As the critical mineral space evolves in Australia and globally, we are seeing more enquiries for robust and reliable materials handling equipment, and we believe our range of Tyre-Driven Ball Mills complements our other products and systems perfectly,” Ingleson said.
Established in 2012, continuous innovation and production development is a core strength for BHT.
