Women across Australian industries will be celebrated at the upcoming Women in Industry Awards.
The nominations are in for the 2026 Women in Industry Awards, an event that recognises the exceptional women who are breaking barriers in traditionally male-dominated sectors.
Taking place on 18 June at Doltone House Darling Island Wharf, the event brings together champions of diversity and progress. While award entries are reserved for women, the gala evening is open to everyone who wants to be part of this inspiring celebration.
Prime Creative Media head of events marketing Molly Hancock said each year the Women in Industry Awards highlight the remarkable progress and transformation taking place across these sectors.
“The quality of submissions, combined with the increasing excitement and engagement surrounding the awards, is a clear reflection of how these industries are evolving,” she said.

This year, the awards program has been expanded to reflect growth across several industries in Australia.
Hancock said by introducing new categories such as Tradeswoman of the Year, Marketer of the Year, and Excellence in Health and Medicine, the awards remain relevant and representative of the modern workforce.
“These categories recognise critical contributions that have historically been underrepresented, while also celebrating the depth of talent across industry,” she said.
“Importantly, the addition of the Rising Women in Leadership: C-Suite Executive Award highlights the growing presence and impact of women at the highest levels of leadership. It’s about showcasing what’s possible and creating visible role models for the next generation.”
At its core, the Women in Industry Awards are about visibility and opportunity. Expanding the program allows it to shine a light on more stories, more achievements, and more pathways into these industries.
