Contract won to build automated ore sampling laboratory at Koodaideri

Scott Technology Limited has awarded the design and construct contract of an automated iron-ore sample processing laboratory at Rio Tinto’s Koodaideri mine site.

Scott Technology Limited has awarded the design and construct contract of an automated iron-ore sample processing laboratory at Rio Tinto’s Koodaideri mine site.

Kerman Contracting won the contract and is expected to being construction in the second quarter of 2020.

The scope of works includes civil and concrete works, as well as the structural, hydraulic, electrical and communications works, as well as fire protection.

The supply, installation and commissioning of the robotics equipment will be undertaken by Scott Technology.
