‘Dedicated’ CPS recognised by Rio Tinto for safety standards

Fenner Conveyors celebrated the achievement of Conveyor Products & Solutions (CPS) being a finalist in the Rio Tinto Supplier Recognition Awards.

It was the second time the event has been held by the mining company with the aim of valuing suppliers for their performance and contribution to the local community.

Rio Tinto allowed any supplier and business that worked with them across its Western Australian operations across six categories. From around 200 nominations, the awards were slimmed down to 18 finalists.

CPS was one of the finalists in the health and safety category. The award recognised a demonstrated effort in safety performance to make work sites safer beyond their own work.

Finding Better Ways to drive innovation and continuous improvement is a commitment shared between Rio Tinto, CPS and the broader Fenner Conveyors Group in Australia. This is reflected in CPS’ position as a finalist.

“We’ll continue to innovate and push the boundaries of conveyor solutions, ensuring that we deliver the safest, highest quality, fit-for-purpose products and services to our clients,” general manager Max Herscovitz said.

“Thank you to Rio Tinto for this recognition, and to our dedicated team for their hard work and commitment.”
