Fenner Dunlop has expanded in Australia, opening a new sales, service and manufacturing centre in Brisbane.

Fenner Dunlop has expanded in Australia, opening a new sales, service and manufacturing centre in Brisbane, Queensland.

Located less than eight kilometres east of Brisbane’s CBD and within 500 metres of the Gateway Bridge, the 6053 square metre facility includes a 3300 square metre workshop.

It will serve as a hub for engineered conveyor solutions, field service and after sales support.

The branch will be home to a sales and marketing office, service centre, warehouse and idler manufacturing plant.

The idler plant can produce standard sizes of conveyor steel rollers and has the ability to produce idlers with reduced lead time when compared with overseas sourcing methods.

Its production line has been designed to keep costs down while maintaining automated and it is entirely automated to ensure consistency across the production line. Production of the idler plan is expected to start by the end of September.

“Our experience in supplying idlers gives us total confidence that we are delivering the best product in the market,” Fenner Dunlop Conveyor & Components Manager QLD, Brendon Harms said.

“We are excited in now being able to better support our customers with fast response and delivery.”

Fenner Dunlop’s General Manager of Marketing and Sales, Trevor Svenson, said the move to the facility in Murarrie allows for additional capacity to meet growing demand from its customer base.

“A lot of effort from our dedicated Fenner Dunlop and Australian Conveyor Engineering teams went into making this facility a reality,” Svenson said.

The new branch and manufacturing plant will be formally inaugurated at a ceremony in October. It is located at 35 Alexandria Street, Murarrie, and can be contacted at (07) 3907 3200.
