Fenner Dunlop group acquires conveyor pulley designer

Fenner Dunlop Australia has acquired a local designer and manufacturer of pulleys and bulk handling equipment. ABHR speaks to Tim Cleine to find out why.

Belle Banne Conveyor Systems (BBCS) has acquired a leading designer and manufacturer of conveyor pulleys from Longship Enterprises.

BBCS, part of the Fenner Dunlop Australia group of companies acquired the business Conveyor Pulleys Australia (CPA), which provides fabricated steelwork and a range of structural and specialised project work for bulk materials handling belt conveyor systems.

CPA offers support services including site maintenance, supply of conveyor spares, design and fabrication of conveyor pulleys, quality control management and refurbishment of of pulleys.

Fenner Dunlop is a supplier of conveyor products, belt handling technology, materials handling engineering and maintenance services in the mining, bulk materials handling, ports and heavy industry markets.

Fenner Dunlop’s Chief Financial Officer Stuart Milliken said the combination of its BBCS brand with the CPA products and services will allow the company to offer a complete range of high-quality pullets, manufactured in Victoria.

“We will combine the knowledge and expertise of the two businesses to enable CPA to provide the highest level of service and support to its many valued customers,” he said.

BBCS will continue to operate CPA at the same location, at 11 Network Drive, Carrum Downs, Victoria.
