Fenner Dunlop has expanded its operations in Western Australia, opening a new workshop and service centre in Karratha.

Fenner Dunlop has expanded its operations in Western Australia, opening a new workshop and service centre in Karratha.

The workshop provides a full suite of fabrication and mechanical/electrical services, opening opportunities for the local mining sector.

Fenner Dunlop’s long-term goal for the facility is to turn it into a one-stop-shop that can offer mechanical and electrical services such as belt splicing, equipment remodelling, fabrication, servicing and breakdown, preventative maintenance programs, design, consultation and innovation.

The company takes pride in being close to its customers, Fenner Dunlop Conveyor Components and Asset Manager, Bradley Dean said.

“A logistic challenge filled with high freight charges required a quick solution for local businesses,” he said.

“We’re proud that our employees, many of who are locals, have been hard at work to make this branch a reality.”

Fenner Dunlop has encouraged its Karratha customers to visit the facility and learn more about what the workshop has to offer.

The branch is located at 1005 Orkney Road, Karratha. Opening hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
