Fenner Conveyors has released a new conveyor belt range incorporating recycled materials, as the company signals a stronger focus on circular manufacturing in bulk handling.
The InfinitySeries line is designed to use recycled content while maintaining performance standards required for industrial applications, including mining and materials handling. The company said the belts are manufactured and reprocessed within Australia, aligning with local supply chain strategies.
According to Fenner, the InfinitySeries belts are intended to deliver “reliable performance” while incorporating recycled inputs.
Fenner Conveyors managing director Jen Green highlighted the significance of this shift toward circularity.
“It’s no longer the end for end‑of‑life conveyor belts. We are transforming these belts into new solutions that can continue to deliver value to the industry,” Green said.
The initiative also aligns with Fenner’s broader sustainability framework, which includes reducing environmental impact and advancing product circularity across its manufacturing operations.
Conveyor belts are a high-volume consumable in mining and bulk handling, with replacement cycles generating significant material waste. Efforts to integrate recycled materials into belt construction are increasingly being explored as operators seek to balance durability with environmental considerations.
The InfinitySeries launch follows a series of developments within the company aimed at improving efficiency and sustainability across conveyor systems, including energy-efficient products and expanded manufacturing capabilities.
