Flexco has revealed the acquisition of SHG Conveyor Control GmbH, and introduced the Rip Prevent+.
Rip Prevent+ is an advanced AI-powered conveyor monitoring system that is designed to enhance conveyor efficiency.
The system delivers real-time belt rip detection, prevention, and operational insights, all without the needs of sensor inside the belt, lasers, cameras, or structural modifications.
It is compatible with any conveyor, and is suitable for operators in cement, mining, aggregates, and bulk handling.
Other features of Rip Prevent+ include MassFLow monitoring for material flow, moto condition monitoring, energy and network analysis, and gearbox and bearing vibration analysis.
Flexco said that the acquisition of SHB expands its digital portfolio, combining Rip Prevent+ with Flexco Elevate and the Novitool Aero Splice Press with IntelliSplice Technology.
