Washington-based Fluke Corporation has acquired a German manufacturer of precision laser shaft alignment, condition monitoring and non-destructive testing.
Prüftechnik will be acquired by Fluke, and also provides compact maintenance technology for vibration analysis.
According to Fluke Corporation President, Marc Tremblay, Prüftechnik will assist Fluke to guide the next generation of solutions for its industrial customers.

“Fluke’s acquisition of Prüftechnik reflects the growing importance our customers place on reliability systems to keep their equipment in optimum operating condition,” Tremblay said.
Fluke Corporation, founded in 1948, serves many technicians, engineers, electricians, maintenance managers and metrologists.
