The technical program has been released for the 15th International Conference on Bulk Materials Storage, Handling and Transportation (ICBMH 2026), outlining three days of presentations focused on the latest developments in bulk solids engineering and materials handling.
The conference will be held at Rydges Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle, Western Australia, from 7–9 July 2026. Organised by TUNRA Bulk Solids on behalf of the Australian Society for Bulk Solids Handling (ASBSH), the event continues a conference series that has been running since 1983.
The 2026 program features more than 70 technical presentations covering a broad range of topics relevant to the bulk handling sector. Sessions will examine conveyor design and operation, transfer chutes, belt cleaning, dust control, wear management, storage systems, stockpile management, pneumatic conveying, ship loading, bulk material characterisation and flow behaviour.
Several presentations will also explore the increasing role of digital technologies, condition monitoring, automation and predictive maintenance in improving the performance and reliability of bulk handling systems.
In addition to technical papers, delegates will have the opportunity to attend keynote presentations, industry networking events and the conference exhibition, where equipment suppliers and service providers will showcase products and technologies supporting the bulk materials handling industry.
The conference program includes case studies and research from Australian and international organisations representing mining, minerals processing, ports, agriculture, manufacturing and heavy industry, reflecting the broad application of bulk materials handling technologies across multiple sectors.
