The clock is counting down to the biggest night in the bulk handling year: the Australian Bulk Handling Awards. Have you booked your place?

Now into its eleventh year, the Awards ceremony is the biggest night of networking and industry fraternising in the bulk handling calendar.

12 awards will be distributed to the industry’s high flyers over the course of the night. The premier bulk handling facilities will be named. The most innovative technology will be pinpointed. Best practice and excellence in transport and/or conveying, work health and safety, dust control, and the application of gears motors and drives will be recognised. The supplier of the year and environmental project of the year will be lauded.

“It’s a cracking night,” explained Charles Macdonald, editor of organising entity Australian Bulk Handling Review. “On stage the best in our industry are celebrated. At the same time, the venue floor is alive with networking, business card swapping and contact making. Anyway who’s serious about doing business in the bulk handling sector needs to be at Doltone House, Hyde Park, Sydney on Thursday 24th November.”

A sponsorship slot is still available, too, for the event. A long time supporter of the event, Bonfiglioli’s chief executive, Malcolm Lewis, explained why his company is again sponsoring next week’s event.

“It’s the right time and place to showcase what we do because obviously a lot of the people that we need to get to are in the room. If they are seeing our product up in lights every year it gives them a little bit of confidence that we are a supplier that they should be looking at.”
