Kinder Australia has delivered a hands-on conveyor condition monitoring training session at Boral’s Nunawading site.
Led by field applications specialist Peter Laskey, the session brought together maintenance staff, fitters, and area managers for a practical deep dive into conveyor performance.
“Sessions like these help teams build confidence in spotting and addressing problems early, which goes a long way towards reducing downtime and improving safety,” Laskey said.

- Transfer points – ensuring smoother material flow and minimising spillage.
- Belt tracking – maintaining alignment to extend belt and component life.
Participants also explored Kinder’s mobile demo trailer, where they could see proven solutions and learn how to address common operational challenges.
“These sessions encourage everyone to re-examine current performance and look for ways to improve,” Boral concrete maintenance manager Shaun McIlduff said.
Kinder Australia is committed to offering more than just conveyor equipment. It aims to provide education and upskilling, with customised onsite training designed to empower teams, improve safety, and maximise system performance.
