Ahrens has been engaged to deliver a new multi-million dollar hay processing and cereal straw facility and office space for Johnson Asahi in Dooen, Victoria.
Johnson Asahi chose Ahrens to deliver this project as it can provide a complete range of in-house project services and cost-effective solutions.
Ahrens can design, fabricate and detail its own structural steel and components at its local manufacturing facility to reduce planning and construction time.
The Ahrens team will work to deliver the facility in ten months, and will integrate capabilities from various sectors of the business including the Design and Construction team, the Steel Solutions division for the supply of structural steel, and Site Services for erection.
The project will allow Johnson Asahi to increase it production capacity, helping it to meet increased demand. This is one of various projects Ahrens have will completed for JT Johnsons over many years, with works ranging from pellet plants and a series of other buildings in South Australia.
