A new stress relief oven was installed as part of the upgrade to provide a more complete service to customers on large rebuilds.

The company believes this will improve quality control and accelerate turnaround times for its clients.

The Mesa repair facility offers repairs and field services while supporting Metso’s lice cycle services contracts.

In addition, the Mesa repair facility has also invested in other equipment to support the repair of mining screens, wet low intensity magnetic separator (LIMS) drums and babbitted bearings for mills.

Mesa has undergone steady growth since opening in 2015, with 2019 setting a record for safety performance, revenue and profitability.

Metso plans to further grow the portfolio of services offered at the site and is looking to improve productivity and reduce operational costs for its clients in the mining and aggregates sector.
