Nord Drivesystems has extended its range of single stage helical gear units to include three larger sizes.
The new units provide high output torques as well as maximum radial and axial load capacity.
Featuring a modular design, the units can provide a wide range of application flexibility due to their configuration and mounting options.
The housings are finite element method optimised to ensure maximum strength and rigidity, while the cast iron gear units are also able to reliable handle large axial and radial forces, making them optimal for pumps and agitators.

All variants are available as a flange mounted of foot/flange mounted version.
Nord Drivesystems Managing Director Australia Martin Broglia said the single stage NORDBLOC.1 helical gear units had proved to be popular, so the inclusion of three additional sizes was a logical step.
“We have received great response from the market on this product and as such, the three new products (SK 871.1, SK 971.1 and SK 1071.1) offer enhanced powers from 0.12 to 45 kilowatts and cover the torque range up to 1,000 newton metres,” Broglia said.
“Options for IEC and NEMA motor mounting as well as a wide range of equipment variants for shafts, bearings and lubrication can be flexibly implemented.”
