Qube selects contractor to build $94M logistics park

A contractor has been selected to deliver the $94 million Moorebank Logistics Park West project for Qube in NSW.

A contractor has been selected to deliver the $94 million Moorebank Logistics Park West project for Qube in NSW.

The project is set to become Australia’s largest freight infrastructure project and will link Port Botany directly to rail terminals and warehousing on a 243 hectare site.

Georgiou Group will delivering all civil and infrastructure works required for the Moorebank Logistics Park Westproject, including clearing, bulk earthworks, earth retaining structures, access roads and stormwater and drainage.

Georgiou Group Chief Executive Officer Rob Monaci said the project award is indicative of the company’s growth on the east coast and national capability.

The project will see 60 personnel engaged at its peak, with works having already begun. The project is set for completion in April 2021.
