Reliable Software Solutions is proud to announce the release of its Haul Truck Scale System upgrade package.
This is an integrated suite of rugged hardware and intelligent software designed to provide accuracy, efficiency, and data integration across mining operations.
“Mining operations need durable, adaptable systems that deliver accurate data with minimal downtime,” said Andrew Sheppard, managing director at Reliable Software Solutions. “This upgrade reflects our commitment to helping clients streamline weighing processes and improve data reliability in the field.”
At the core of the system is the Haul Truck Logger (HTL) application, purpose-built for automating weighbridge data collection in mining environments. HTL connects directly to haul truck weighbridges using Serial or Wi-Fi, streamlining the data capture process.

Deployed on the Panasonic ToughPad, the software delivers performance and reliability even in the harshest conditions.
Complementing the software is the newly enhanced Robust Digital Indicator, which features a high-resolution 24-bit Sigma Delta A/D converter, RS-485 surge-protected communications, and support for up to eight loadcell inputs.
Designed for low-voltage weighbridge setups, it ensures precise and dependable weight readings, within harsh Australian mining environments.
Together, the upgraded system supports real-time data integration with existing equipment and platforms – ideal for sites looking to modernise legacy infrastructure without full system replacement.
Customisation options include mine dispatch integration, cloud connectivity, and compatibility with third-party reporting tools.
