Rema Tip Top wins South Flank conveyor belting contract

Monadelphous has selected Rema Tip Top Australia to install a further 24 kilometres of conveyor belting and provide splicing services for BHP’s South Flank project.

Monadelphous has selected Rema Tip Top Australia to install a further 24 kilometres of conveyor belting and provide splicing services for BHP’s South Flank project.

The contract is the third in a series of agreements which will see Rema Tip Top supporting Monadelphous deliver infrastructure project for the region’s miners.

Works will include the delivery of belt installation works across 13 conveyors which tie into the existing BHP Mining Area C stock yard.

Rema Tip Top will deploy a team of 11 for approximately eight months. Works will commence immediately to deliver 63 steel cord splices across a range of 1800-, 2000- and 2400-millimetre belts.

Rema Tip Top Industry Australia CEO Michel Ciepelinski said the new contract is a testament to Monadelphous’ faith in its ability to deliver.
