Savage ‘passionate’ about Bonfiglioli return

Bonfiglioli New Zealand has welcomed back Paul Savage to serve as the company’s country manager.

Savage worked as the company’s national sales manager before taking a break in 2023 but has returned to the title of country manager.

“I’m very passionate about Bonfiglioli. The company has an extensive product range which allows our involvement in such a wide range of industry sectors and applications,” Savage said.

“I enjoy meeting people and being part of finding the best solutions for product development, product performance and reliability.”

Savage will lead Bonfiglioli’s New Zealand team of 13 staff (including storemen, mechanical assemblers, and internal and external salespeople), manage production, and drive the operation’s overall efficiency.

Established in 1956, Bonfiglioli operates worldwide with 21 branches, 14 production facilities, a network of 550 distributors and about 3,770 employees.

“His experience and expertise make him an asset to the company, and we look forward to continued expansion for the New Zealand branch, under his guidance,” Bonfiglioli Australia and New Zealand managing director Martin Broglia said.

Savage said he wanted to make the company the most trusted supplier of industrial geared motor products in New Zealand.

“It is my goal to develop the NZ team and to apply the values that guide me: accountability, trust, and respect for others. It’s the whole team’s job to build long-lasting relationships with our customers, adding value to their business, and fostering partnerships where we are all successful in achieving our goals,” he said.

“Having a close connection with our valued OEMs and end users, and understanding their individual businesses, is key to our success.”
