TUNRA Bulk Solids collaborates with Queensland Mining and Engineering Expo

TUNRA Bulk Solids will once again collaborating with the Queensland Mining and Engineering Expo (QME) in 2024, following  a successful Materials Handling Workshop in 2022.

TUNRA’s belt conveying specialists, Dr Peter Robinson and Mr Yusuf Badat, will be presenting a Masterclass titled Optimising belt conveyor systems: Troubleshooting, component testing and state-of-the-art research.

This free masterclass is aimed at professionals from mining companies, ports, engineering companies and equipment suppliers.

The workshop will explore the role of belt conveyor component testing in the design and optimisation of conveying systems, as well as typical issues and how they can be prevented.

Current research findings will also be presented and considerations on energy-efficiency conveyors through updates to AS 1333.

The master class aims to increase awareness of belt conveying-related issues and component testing, diversify expertise and knowledge, help attendees familiarise themselves with recent updates to AS 1333.
