Bunge receivals surge as exports accelerate

Viterra

The Bunge monthly receivals report shows continued activity across its South Australian and western Victorian network, with growers delivering 71,470 tonnes of grain between 2 February and 1 March 2026, taking total 2025/26 season receivals to over 5.6 million tonnes.

Regional breakdowns reflect solid contributions from across the network, with the Central region leading at 35,047 t, followed by Western sites at 24,830 t and Eastern deliveries of 11,593 t during the month.

The report highlights growing export momentum, particularly from the Eyre Peninsula (EP). The company’s EP ports have now surpassed 1 million tonnes of exports, a key milestone in the 2025/26 export program. To date, 24 vessels have been loaded at Port Lincoln and Thevenard, delivering local grain to 13 international markets.

Bunge senior manager supply chain Derek Robjohns said teams across the supply chain are working hard to ensure growers’ grain continues to reach global buyers efficiently.

“Our teams have been working hard to move grain to port and load it onto vessels, ensuring we can meet the demand from the seven exporters sourcing and shipping grain from the region,” Robjohns said.

Beyond EP shipments, the network’s broader export program is progressing strongly. With more than 60 vessels loaded across all six South Australian ports, season exports from the SA network now exceed 2.5 million tonnes, reaching customers in 25 countries worldwide. The program also continues to support important domestic grain deliveries.
